Lake Breeze is one of those perfect venues thats an absolute pleasure to work at. Set in the heart of Langhorne Creek, the space has a relaxed, inviting feel that we wanted to capture in these images. The brief for the shoot was less about pushing individual products and more about capturing the experience and feeling of what it’s like to spend an afternoon at Lake Breeze.
Late afternoon light filtering through the trees onto the stunning red grapevine out front gave us a perfect starting point for some hero images. Inside the restaurant’s upstairs seating area, the large windows frame the vineyard perfectly, drawing your eye straight out across the rows and making it hard not to pause and take it in.
Having Georgia and Annie present as subjects for the images brought the whole space to life, turning good scenes into real moments. Whilst often more difficult to coordinate logistically, having subjects for images can make such a difference and is always recommended.
From a commercial photography perspective, this shoot was all about storytelling. Showing the experience, not just the wine. It’s the kind of approach I love bringing to winery photography, creating images that make you feel something first, and then plan a visit.
